Will protests pick up again?

I really hope that protests in Burma continue (and I pray that they do not turn bloody this time). These monks and the people of Burma show so much courage... all that is needed is for more international attention and pressure, and I think things could really change.

we can hope.

goverments like that tend to only give up power when forced to at gun point.

Well, that wouldn't hurt. I can't believe I'm actually saying this but I think that government should be tear-gassed and then thrown into small concrete rooms for a few years to think about what they've done
