Sending {{{{prayers and vibes}}}} that Bagheera is found soon. Please don't give up hope yet - remember Fwan's cat was missing for over 2 weeks and was finally found in time to make a full recovery!

I'm still going out and calling her, and we went out with flashlights tonight and searched. No go though. She also didn't come in to eat the food we put downstairs for her this morning. The few little treats I put out in the same spot I put them in the other night didn't disappear. They were still out there when I came home tonight. I'll see if they're still there in the morning.

Kind of gory, but... my sister asked her morgue docter friend how long it would take a body to start smelling.. and he said we'd probably be able to smell it by now, at least a little..so, I guess it's a good sign that we're not smelling anything odd in the house.

Pogue is so upset. He's taken to snuggling with me because Bagheera is gone. He's coming to bed with me at night, and he's so upset. He's running about the house calling for Bags.

If she doesn't come home tomorrow, we're going to get a chicken and roast it on Saturday, with the windows open. THat way it's roasting a lot longer and maybe she'll get a better whiff of it, if she's outside.

I know it sounds stupid, or.. maybe... I don't know, off, perhaps.. but I'm just not feeling anything except a certainty that she's not coming back. I'm not crazy upset the way I was with Tavi's death, but I can't explain it. I mean, I love my little bow legged Mau. It's just so odd.

Well, I just went off on a wild goose chase because I thought i heard a really faint meow, but there doesn't seem to be any more.

I just saw this, and Bags makes the 3rd tcs cat missing in 2 wks.! Sadie got a call on Ziggy. Bless them! My GiGi, she's gone! I have exhausted every
measure to take!! This past Tuesday night at 10:00pm was a wk. she's been MIA! Now that's a wk and two days! I can't imagine, like you, them going
beyond the norm and either meet their fate, or is just lost! I have called and called, walked, screamed, bawled, threw things, flashlight, put clothes and litter and stinky food out, put her picture everywhere, put an add in the
paper! Just dissappeared into thin air! Not really, into thick woods is more like it! I just hate that I will be tortured by this from now on! I feel exactly
what your feeling! I sure do hope for your baby's safe return home!
best of luck to you!

I hope your kitty comes home too.
I've called every shelter, rescue group, vet, and everything that I can think of. I might put out more posters tomorrow, along the sidewalks. I concentrated on the mailboxes in the area (community, not individual) and put a few on the sidewalks.

You know, the thing is, I hope she's allright, but honestly, if she slipped into someone's house, I wouldn't put is past someone to keep her given her appearance. They wouldn't be able to do anything with her, so maybe that will prompt a phone call, but.. you know, there are red-tailed hawks and other birds of prey (although smaller than the red-tailed) around here. And there's at least one fox that we know of, and have seen. I've seen eagles here. She's really not much bigger, if at all, than a bunny. Fortunately she's naturally cautious (we can thank Khan for that), and very wary.

We need someone to do a finding spell or something for us.

I can't imagine that she got out, but we can't find her in the house. She was perfectly fine the last time we saw her, not sick, not acting strangely..

If anyone is Wiccan or Pagan and has the stuff to do a spell to bring her home safely, I'd be greatly appreciative..
I haven't done a spell in ages but I'm going to dig out my book of shadows as soon as I get home! I'll say a quick chant now and I really do hope that she's ok and comes back soon.

Carwashcats, I'd be happy to include GiGi in my spell if you want.

A finding spell (which I have several of) should help guide your kitties home. That said, it's good to keep in mind that some things aren't always meant to be found... or that they may not be found in the way you want.

Do you have a picture of GiGi? That would really help.

For any of you who believe in this I'm going to post some chants/prayers you can do yourself.

Thank you Twsty!

And thank you again to everyone for all the good vibes and well-being thoughts.

Gigi will hopefully make it home too.

Bagheera still hasn't been found. I called and called her when I got home, but there was no answer. I'll try a chant too. The only ritual stuff I have is sage and a smudge pot.

The sage can't hurt! I didn't get a chance to last night (too much going on)... but I did this morning and I will again tonight and tomorrow. Hopefully they find their way home or can find a way to at least ease your minds.

You can consider the moon/cat gift from Bagheera. She was/is three years old precisely on Halloween. I thought it was appropriate given her birthday.

Thank you again. I just don't even have the right words to thank everyone appropriately for all of their help, good vibes, and willingness to go above and beyond to help her (and Gigi) come home safely.

Hehe, well, since the finding spell.. my sister has found her missing pin numbers, and her missing boots (which we had one of for about 5 years now, but was never able to find the other one, and suddenly today, after many years of searching, both of them "appeared" together, in the same spot).

I've also found my birth certificate, which I needed but wasn't sure where it was..

Erm, maybe we can tailor it to the next letter of the alphabet and get cat instead of boots and birth certificate...

j/k, but seriously, it's kind of funny, so I thought I'd share.

Wishing I were anywhere but here
I'm sorry you haven't been able to find bagheera yet.
I really like that name....which was from jungle book, correct? Isn't it funny how you find all the other things you were looking for when you least need them? Keeping my fingers crossed that you find bagheera soon and in good shape! That finding spell looked interesting.

Yes, Bagheera is from the Jungle Book, and we have Shere Khan too. We were on a Kipling theme for a while and had Rikki Tikki Tavi, but when Tavi died, we veered away from Kipling and then we got Joyeux around Christmas time (the same time of year we got Noel), so we named her Joyeux. Pog was born on St. Patrick's Day, so we named him something Irish..

Aww... well, at least we know it's working... sort of. Mine have been very specific and I burned the last of one candle this morning. I'll start another one tonight. And if I think to I'll post the one I'm using here. Perhaps if you do it too it will be more effective.

Oh, I haven't forgotten GiGi. If I have any dreams or anything I'll be sure to let either of you know.
