Looks like the gloves are coming off. It is about time. I don't think anyone should be handled with kid gloves because of gender.

What I don't understand is, WHY won't she say what she would do on the BIG issues?

"""Still, she continued her strategy of avoiding direct answers to questions: She wouldn't say how she would address Social Security; she declined to pledge whether she would stop Iran from developing a nuclear weapon, or say whether she supports giving driver's licenses to illegal immigrants."""

This is the part of politics I HATE! Look how good I am by way of completely bashing the other person. The basher never looks good. I really hope these candidates stay away from that kind of politics. But it looks like too late for that. All the mudslinging it what makes me hate elections.

Another article. In the interest of fairness it must be noted that they went after her pretty bad.

I like the part about her handlers gritting their teeth bacause Hillary has the tendency to become "shrill"

Can you just imagine if this woman hits the WHite House. Nothing worse than a shrill woman.

Oh and the illlustrious Obama is IN FAVOR of Drivers Licenses for illegal aliens.
Hillary waffled and flip flopped on the issue.

I refuse to vote for any candidate that starts mud-slinging. I honestly don't care what their platform or agenda is or is not - if they can't win without abasing the other candidates, they don't deserve to win IMO and I don't trust them.

I have to admit, I would rather have Hillary than Obama as President if I had to make a choice between the two. Obama just seems like SUCH a wimp.

Guess you're not voting eh? I have yet to see a candidate that doesn't do any mud-slinging.

Perish the thought that either should win!

I think she's already assumed the nomination and has started in on the general campaign against George Bush. That's a dangerous strategy as the election is still a year away and there's a good possibility of peaking too early.

Unfortunately, any Republican candidate is going to be "tarnished" by Bush, as he's one of the most unpopular incumbents in U.S. history. If they, meaning the Republican candidates, don't manage to distance themselves from him, all the Democratic candidates have to do is bash Bush.

Well, yes and no. You're right, it was a slip-up, but she IS campaigning against Bush right now, and I think the general campaign is going to largely about him as well. Besides, how do we know Bush can't run again, yet? He might issue an executive order suspending the two-term limit, or even the election, on the grounds of a national emergency or something. And I'm only half kidding!!

He's already had a pretty good start against the Constitution

Please, Tim, Bush's behavior has made me paranoid enough!
