I had self control. It lasted from about 11am this morning until about 11:15pm tonight
Colin went to the store this morning to pick up a few bags of Halloween candy for the trick-or-treaters tomorrow. They've been sitting on the kitchen table ALL day ...staring at me....and i resisted. I finally couldn't take it anymore!

In the past 15 minutes i've had 4 cherry Dum-Dum suckers
Someone stop me! Those poor kids aren't going to have any candy tomorrow if i don't stop

Thanks a lot for reminding me about the tons of delicious candy in my house. Now I have a craving, of course!
Must resist.......

That's silly- then what happens with the leftover candy? You're stuck with candy you don't like (although i agree- hard to find a candy you don't like!
)

Hmm...some people have NO self-control!!!

Luckily, I don't crave candy; but I LOVE chocolate (and I'm a diabetic). As we get 200 kids, I buy & bag the candy up in September, a bit at a time. I did eat 1 Reese's cup the other night--it was squashed, so I had to put it out of its misery. Really. I swear.

Today, I was in the warehouse club, and found a box of mini-microwave popcorn bags. I bought some to give out, should we run ot of candy (we always do). I figured, at least if THAT'S left over, it will be healthier for me to eat.
