Over the river and through the woods...
Ohhh, I missed it!!
I meant to set it up to record...I LOVE Charlie Brown!!

When I was in junior high, the 8th grade would always put on a play of "Charlie Brown's Christmas"...I was Peppermint Patty. I can quote every word of that show.

Ahhh...memories of childhood!

I always wish that I could have a dog like Snoopy. I love it when he plays the WWII Flying Ace against the Red Baron.

Or the part where they use Charlie brown's head as a model for their pumpkin

I sooooooo need that 3 DVD set of all the seasonal stuff.

Oh yes, we watched it! We were just happy that they actually played it at the right time this year - last year they did it right at the beginning of October - too far out IMO.

Yup, that's the part that always makes me just laugh till I cry... and it has ever since I was a kid.

A toast -- to the late, great Charles Schulz!

My favorite scene in "It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown" is the following.

Charlie Brown comes out and has his ghost costume on and says, "I had a problem with the scissors."

There are holes cut all over his costume. Now lets back up just a second. What could have possibly happened? Did he have a brief moment of insanity that caused him to loose control? Did he have other sheets that just didn't work out, so he decided to wear that one? It's what you don't see that makes that so funny. I scream with laughter every year.

We own the DVD box set, and I'll be doing a review in my "Because it's October" thread. It's not Halloween with out it.

We always watch the Charlie Brown specials. We watched it while we carved out our pumpkin
So funny how Charlie got rocks for Halloween
We also like Pigpen, in his little ghost costume, & he says "no one will know its me" But everyone knows anyway. Love everything about Charlie Brown!
