I'm Home

I just wanted to update everyone. I just got home a little while ago. I'm not feeling very well. My body is really sore and I feel like I've been hit by a truck. Besides that, my heart is doing really well. I can't complain about that. The anesthesia gave me HORRIBLE indigestion. I didn't sleep at all last night.

It's going to take time , so if you're able to, curl up warm with your feline family , have a hot cup of tea and maybe some good soup, bread, and a salad (or whatever food you like that's easy and comforting and, now, probably bland) and watch a favorite DVD or video or show, listen to some favorite music, and/or read a good book . Hope you feel better soon...just be good to you!

Thanks everyone. I'm still really hoarse from the tube going down my throat. They put a catheter in my wrist and it's really black and blue. My stomach is still really upset from the anesthesia. My leg hurts really bad where they put another catheter to insert the device in my heart. I feel like I've been beat up. It will take 6 months for my heart to seal around the device. I can't do anything strenuous for a week. My boyfriend and my mom are taking care of me. My boyfriend is being a really good nurse. I've been snuggling with Tiger. It took him a little while for him to sleep in his normal position (under my arm like a teddy bear). I think he knew he had to be really gentle near my chest. He's a smart kitty.
