Hi! I just called the A&E editor of the CC Times about the sign-in screen. I had gotten to the site without using the sign-on. I checked my post b/4 I submitted it and I got in w/o signing on. Anyway, the editor said that the only reason for the sign-on is for them to let their advertisors know how many readers they have. The Times does not disclose your emails or even send you any. She did say that she would talk to their IT dept. because of the inconsistencies about the sign-on process.
