Personally, I think a phone should be a phone you TALK on - not a text messaging thing, not a camera, not a calculator, or anything else. Its a PHONE - you dial a number and you TALK to the person

I have NEVER texted anyone!

Rare for me. I don't think I send more than one or two text messages a month. I don't like talking on the phone, much less texting.

The phone is no longer just a phone. Well, cell phones aren't. It is also a computer and plays music!
I have GPS on my phone. I check my e-mail on my phone so much it is like texting.

My motto is why call for a quick question or two when you can text? I love texting too!

I hate texting... talking on the phone is impersonal enough... besides if they are available to talk, it's so much faster

i will not say which female in my life,ok the wife, have seen her talk on one cell phone and text with another cell phone (yes she has three).(it is cheaper there to text then call)

i get to many text messages, most come from the servers who page when something happens.

It depends what network they are on too, if I get free calls to someone I am more likely to call them, but international calls are expensive so if I am out and want to ask someone back home something I will text (or email)

Does anyone else do this? Or is it just me?
I dont text that much. But I text more then I use my cellphone. And when I auctually have to dial a number, I find it very difficult because im looking at the letters

My husband has the blackberry and they call his text messaging 'Enhanced Text Messaging' which is 3x the cost for a regular one. He got the $5 unlimited text plan too but apparently it doesn't cover enhanced ones. So now we're getting hit with over $100 worth of 'enhanced' text messages. Let's just say, I'm a bit frustrated with both him and Sprint.
I don't text message him unless it's an emergency and he's at work which was only about twice.

Haven't ever used the text feature on my cellphone.

Like a few others I have the phone as a phone instead of all that other stuff you have to pay extra for.

Eh....it is nice for when one or more of the people CAN'T talk on the phone (at work, inclass...etc). When I am at work and I remember something I wanted to tell my SO, I text away! But, other than that or momentary "hey!"s out of boredom...I dont do too much txting.
