I was hoping for good news today but am so sorry about Ziggy.
I too have had my cats hit by vehicles in the past-one hopes they don't go by the road though.
Your Ziggy reminds me of my Bobber in color-I had to give her a hug for you.

I'm so sorry to hear about Ziggy. She was very beautiful. I'm glad you know, though, so you don't have to spend your life wondering.

Keeping the collar is the right move. My Dad has my Lady's collar draped on a framed picture and paw print indentation set as a memorial. I really do think it helps.
