I still don't think Craigslist is evil...even if I've never used it before. What do you think? There's been some complaints about it....I just watched something on the news. I honestly had no idea people found work on there or things like that.

Yeah, there's a huge Employment section on there. That's actually where my company has placed ads for CAD and Engineers - and have found very good employees. But I can definitely see where it would be entirely too easy for a predator to use that site for their own nefarious purposes.

I didn't know they had job adds on there eithor. I don't think i'd ever take one off the internet -it's just not safe. I hope this poor woman's death may serve as a reminder for others to never meet anyone off the net without doing so in a public, well lit place with other trusted friends with you- you just never know what kind of crazy people are out there. Sooo many people just let their guards down and that's when they become victims. I hope they prosecute the guys who did this to the full extent of the law.

This really isn't a new crime. I've read stories similar to this where people placed the ads in your everyday paper, then randomly killed.

I was just really glad to hear that the nanny-to be told some people where she was going. Even though she couldn't be saved, at least her body was found.

OMG I read that book I can't believe I forgot it.

I remember seeing a Forensic File episode where a guy posted a want ad and killed someone. This was a different crime from Ann Rule's book.
