Since it was Sunday, I decided I'd sleep in. Of course, Ivo has her own schedule...She came in at 7, meowing for attention and scratching at my closet door. Usually, that means she's having her morning crazies, so when I sat up and said hi, she ran out of the bedroom and charged around my apartment. We did this a few times as usual. The last time, she ran out and got very quiet. Then, she made this horrible sound, a very gutteral "aaaah-oooooh-aaah". I jumped out of bed, threw on my glasses, and ran into the living room. I was afraid she had hurt herself...

And there she was, by the front door, wanting to go out and looking innocent. I thought I knew all her "words", but this was a new one. I guess I still have much more to learn...

It's funny you mention that, Christy. I've noticed Trent making new noises recently and at first it scared the heck out of me! I thought he must be sick or something. No, he's fine. He just found a more pathetic way of asking for attention and loves.

LOL! It seems whenever we get the chance to sleep in, that's the morning they want to get up especially early to play!

Sheldon, quite as a mouse, started talking a couple of weeks ago! He has a very squeeky rusty voice - I guess it was from lack of use for nine months!
