Does any one have a natural kitty treat recipe they love (or their kits love)?
We home school and I thought I would have for our cooking day this week making kitty treats for our fur babies, Pumpkin, Coconut and Cumulous.

TIA!

Well, my kitty is a brat, and he won't ever eat my cooking! I have tried numerous recipes, for both diets and treats... to no avail. But here's one that, although he wouldn't eat, other cats loved!

2 T Olive Oil
3/4 c water
1/4 c canned pumpkin (unsweetened! only ingredient should be pumpkin)
1 lb salmon

Boil the salmon until done, then flake apart with a fork. Mix together with the other ingredients. Be sure to refrigerate unused portions!

I think I made about 1/3 of the portion called for, just because I only have one kitty. Come to think of it, that is probably all you would need, because the larger recipe is actually adapted from a homemade diet (from Pet Food Nation) that is supposed to leave you with leftovers.

The recipe above is not a "dry" treat, although if you want to make those, you might try to find the pre-made mix from "buddy biscuits" (http://www.weecanshop.com/Buddy_Bisc...t-buddycat.htm)
I have made those before too, and you can usually find them at your local health food store.

I'll keep looking through my books for other things you can try...
