We got a new kitty last night at an exotic pet store. The person at the store , in her normal conversation as we were filling out the adoption papers, said "and when you take her to the vet to get declawed or fixed"...Oh my goodness!
We are not even contemplating getting her declawed! It was like she was encouraging it as normal procedure for new kittens.
My question is...since this store routinly sells Bengal kittens, what is the best way to educate them on the horrors of declawing? Should I take them pictures, talk to them? Is there a good article to print out to take them?
