Heya All!

My son got a cat from the Shelter a couple of years ago, and for several reason, he doesn't want her - so was going to take her back to the Shelter as "anti-social." I met the little person before, and fell in love with her
, so had him leave her with me.

This is the 1st time ever - in my life that I've had a cat or any little soul. So I've been reading all kinds of books as guidance and doing the best for the little girl.

Well, not only from reading, but from observance, yeah, I'd say, she's stand offish - I learned all cats are like this.

I've got a lot of questions. And concerns.

I've post them further on.

Blessings,

Allat

What a good Mom you are to your son and sure you will be to your new addition! What's her name?

Welcome to TCS! Lots of people to answer your questions or just chat with you.

My son and the girlfriend called her Prada (before the movie) but she never answered to it anyway (not even turned her head). So I asked him what was the name from the Shelter, he got annoyed and answered Charlie for Charlotte - I don't know where he was being "funny." Anyway, I was game (he, he) and when he left, I tried calling her that, but she didn't answer.

Anyway, she's got no name. I can't decide on any - and call her all kinds according to the moods; sometimes, Blue Eyes, or Fur Baby, or Nefertiti (The Beautiful One is Here) or Sheba ( the Queen) or Shorty, or Fur Leggings (she's got dark fur on her legs like a stockings) or Owl (cause her ears stick up sometimes like the owl) and sometimes when she's lying down, she looks like a big ole fat seal. Thats one problem I'm having, she's getting too fat.

But she knows I love her. She's a Lady! ( as Tom Jones sings)- a sweet lady.

Welcome to TCS!

How wonderful of you to take in I-Have-Yet-To-Be-Named! Some cats are simply not overly social/lovey/lap cats. That is their nature. I am glad you can understand that & are willing to live with her as is!

Adding my welcome - but I'm not sure "no-name" is accurate, sounds more like every-name to me!
What does she look like?

Thank you for taking her in when your son didn't want her - and she your first pet, if I understand you correctly - you will get to enjoy the rewards of caring for a little fur-baby - you are in for a real treat once she settles in and realizes you are her "forever home"!
