I hve indoor/outdoor cats myself and have had some just disappear over the years. But I think mine disappeared under terrible circumstances.
We have one cat Bobber who in the fall likes to have extended hunting trips of a couple of days. You can call and call but no luck. I was thinking of buying night vision goggles to see if that would work (bakker likes trotting off and not coming when you call). Neil wants me to get cat GPS collars but they are really pricey!!

Sending you lots of vibes that she comes home save and sound soon!!

That made me laugh and I sure needed that, about the night vision goggles,
that is a great idea! I had no idea they made GPS collars OMG! How awesome!
I bet they are pricey!!!!!!!!! what piece of mind! I did notice GiGi the last few weeks, she would ignore me and not want to come to me if she was on the trail of something interesting, but then she would come bouncing most of the time! I just don't know what to think! Sometimes I wonder about Love he is a big male but he has been fixed, but he and G were buddies, they slept together, I have seen him be aggressive toward mama and she is scared when
he wants to chase her, although i think he just wants to play, I really can't figure it out he might be trying to be dominant over her. Anyway, I just want my baby back! Thanks for caring!

That is so sweet of you , and how dare her take a vacation without me!!!
I hope that is it! It is rocking on a wk now and it is hard to have hope!
It is so hard to even try to look for a cat where I live. it is dense woods.
there are houses, on my side of our road, there are about 10 houses. fewer across the street, behind me is woods for about 1/2 to 3/4 of a mile. til you
come up to the next opening where more houses start. I don't know it is so
frustrating! Thanks for caring. it means the world to me!

GiGi, this is not funny anymore... Your mummy is worried sick about you, come out from the trees and go home..... or scream as loud as you can so she can find you.

I live in the No. Va area near DC.
I don't judge you for indoor/outdoor. Some cats are happier that way. Most of mine have been that way, and in 40 years of cats only (2) ever went missing - this past summer .... and I believe it was a person in the hood who MADE them disappear.

So keep up hope. Check the sewer drains (put food at the tops of drains, inside, and check to see if eaten. If eaten then a cat is probably doing it - tho skunks and possum can too.

Get a night vision camera and do a Kitty buffet (leave out smelly food that cats like) to see who comes to the buffet.

Join the missing cats group at yahoo. This is possibly the best support group you will find.

Share with us at thecatsite.com. Many of us have had similar experience, esp. those who work with ferals (as I do).

Check rescue groups, join PetHarbor.com and as them to send you "adoptable" list of cats in your area, based on your description
of Gigi (if she is in a shelter waiting adoption, then this list could really
help.)

Go at least 60 miles out in all directions. remember cats can travel unintentionally...

Hugs and my deepest sympathy. Please don't give up looking.
