Creepy thing happened to mom

My mom has three flameless candles sitting on the mantle of her fireplace. The switch to turn them on is on the bottom of the candle. She said the other night she dozed off on the couch watching TV and when she woke up the candle in the middle was on. I can't think of an explination for that.

Wiring isn't perfect, all it would need is a slight connection.

Sort of like tv's turning off and on because something is stuck in the power button.

True, but she said when she went to turn it off she had to flip the switch on the bottom because it was in the on position.

Hopefully it was just some sort of glitch!

Maybe its that guy you heard talking at your house

Maybe a cat jumped up at a bug and the light switch happened to be in the way?

Since I've been living with cats, mysterious things have been easily explained away.

Any other signs of a possible haunting? *Is all curious*

Well when I lived with my mom and dad all kinds of weird stuff used to happen here. There is a wetland area down the road from their house and I used to know a guy who said it use to be an indian burial ground. I think the area my mom and live in is haunted. They've had things dissapear and return. I've had experiences with tvs and radios turning on and off. Once I was vaccuming in the living room and I sensed a presence off to my left, I turned to look and there was nothing there but I sensed it moving toward me and then I felt a pain in my left shoulder like something struck me very hard.

You might want to talk to your parents about the possibility of getting a priest-type-thing of their faith in to bless the house.

I know I would.

I think whatever comes through is harmless. Except for that one.
