Good I'm glad he's not getting rid of it. I view tattoos as something personal and since he did it for his children, then that's great.

I did chuckle at the "Watch your back" comment

Ok, I shouldn't laugh because it's really a shame. Poor guy. The artist did a really nice job on the tattoo, it's a shame that it has taken on a different meaning now.

Well, good for him. What a lovely way to show your children how much they and what they love mean to you.

The people making fun of him are being childish. Tattoos are forever, and in a few weeks people will have something else to gossip about. His children will always remember what their Daddy did for them, though.

It is a beautiful tat, and a lovely thought....but, well, when his kids are 30 Dumbledore isn't going to mean a whole lot to them most likely. Nor will it mean a whole lot to Dad. Whatever his sexual orientation (I'm sorry, but WHY does it matter enough for Rowling to "out" him anyway?), it won't matter in a few weeks, let alone years.

You're soooo right! But stirring things up keeps sales going.

Exactly Heidi. The thought behind the tattoo is wonderful. If only most parents cared about their kids enough.....

True sales yes, but I personally did wonder the last two books about Dumbledore. So mystery solved.

I think he should keep it! Who cares what JK said, besides, I think she made it up to boost sales, now every gay person is reading Harry Potter and supports the series. Don't get me wrong, I'm a gay right activist through and through, but in my opinion JK just played the gay card in a very wrong way.

Anyway, that dad must not be comfortable with his own sexuality if he is getting rid of it.
