I need a new heating pad for newborn kitties. . . . anyone have any good suggestions/brands that they like...ones that do not get tooo hot and have a low setting. Lots of them that I see, the low is still to hot for newborns.

Are they orphan kittens? If they have a mother, then you don't need a heating pad. Maybe one of the ones you can order from Pet catalogs would be ok. Anything else may be too hot. Its hard to regulate heating pad temps for newborn kittens.

No they are not orphaned kittens. I like to keep a low temp heating pad under towels/blankets for all my litters (in case needed) or keep one on hand in case I have a new queen that is not co-operate on being a mother.

Thank you!! I will look into that. That just might work, since I do not need it all the time, just on occasions.
