Hiya, this is ash.

I am about to get myself a cat since i have always loved them but never had a chance to have one as a pet.

I just love everything about cats - even cat comics etc

Any advice on owning a cat would be nice :-)

Where are you getting your cat from?

Advice - as others said, anything specific, this is the place; likewise for support if needed. My advice is general: love (sounds like no problem for you!), respect (for what a cat is), patience (nobody's purrfect), and a sense of humor helps!
