Reading TheImp's "Evil" thread got me to thinking of some of the pranks I've pulled on others over the years. I thought it would be fun to have a thread where we talk about the evil (or not so evil) pranks we might have done at one time or another. It doesn't have to be Halloween related, but it IS Halloween time!
The scarier, the better!
My mom always gets creeped out during Halloween time - I don't know why.
Maybe she had a bad experience during Halloween when she was a kid - I don't know. Anyway, she came to visit once during Halloween, and at the time I had rats in the attic which were chewing holes through the ceiling: she was all paranoid that a rat would crawl down through a hole, and get her while she was in bed sleeping or something. I had rat-traps set out to catch the nasty, filthy vermin, and you could hear them go off when a rat got caught. There was a hole in the bathroom ceiling, and while she was in there brushing her teeth, one of the traps went off: she heard it, and started getting all creeped out. I snuck up into the attic, and went to the spot where the hole was in the bathroom ceiling, and started scratching around the area above her head; then I shook a couple small pieces of the ceiling through the hole, which fell down in front of her. She totally freaked, and started screaming, "It's gonna call through that hole, KittKatt!" I couldn't help it: I bust out laughing!
She realized then that it was me, and proceeded to cuss me out - not that I blamed her too much.
She refused to spend the night after that: that is, not until all the rats were gone, and I had the holes in the ceiling repaired..
