I knew it wasn't going to last... Our 93 Saturn's battery went out, again. We're still struggling financially so buying a new battery will shortfall our budget. Hubby was able to get it towed back to our apartment and get a ride back from a friend but now he's gone back to the hospital to crash since he has to get up in about 6 hours anyways.
Maybe one of his co-workers can help us get a jump or something. The last, and first, time it went out, he said that it was something to do with the alternator. I don't know much about cars though but I'm hoping that it's not too serious. One more week until payday til we can really do something for it.
Oi...

That's horrible! It just seems like everything starts to go or the reliable stuff begins to become unreliable and everything is costing money when you're in a rough spot.

Hopefully things will work out in the end.

the alternator helps to charge the battery. if that the issue. maybe you can get a one from a junk yard until you can get a new one....

Update...
Well, at least there's the shuttle bus from our apartments to the base and back but not having a car is going to make it hard to get groceries.
Husband says the alternator is new and the battery is fine but it just won't start. Even his military buddies who are avid car guys can't figure it out. And we tried to get a car loan to get a working used one but our financial situation is making that impossible.
Even talking to the bank about our situation didn't help. Our car only needed to last for another year and I knew that it wouldn't but I didn't think it would break down this soon.
