I'm computer retarded

I am new here and I would like to post a picture of my cats. I went to the how to post your picture post and read it and I didn't understand any of it. I have seen people offer to post pictures for someone. Could someone post my babies' pictures for me? Thank you Becky

Yes, I can use the camera software to send it in an email, but I need the email address to send it. Thanks, Becky

I had no idea how to do anything when I came here. This is the first forum I have ever been in. I tried by trial and error. The most important thing is that you make sure your images are shrunk down enough. You can do that by going to your photo software and resizing it and cropping the photo. After you do that just go to the browse button (located near the bottom of the post). It will pull up a window. Choose which file your pictures are stored in and click the open button You may have other files in this file just choose the picture file and open it also). Usually, you will see a date then some #'s like Sept121jpg. This is Sept 12 (picture)1 jpg. If that is the picture you want select it (it should automatically show up in the file window) then click the open button. It will automatically take you back to your post. All you have to do is submit your reply and waalaa! Is this a little better explanation? Your computor may be different than mine, but give it a try!

Actually, since The Cat Site is having problems with the amount of bandwidth, we are requesting all members to only link images (use the IMG tags instead of the attach option). So resizing would not be a problem since you are linking to another site like Imagstation. The bandwidth is used on their end instead of The Cat Site's server.

I have no idea what either one of you are talking about. But thanks for the effort. I can email my pictures from my Kodak software because it is really simple. But I don't know how to put them here. Becky
