I do hope that people will read this story and find ways to help this man rehome those kitties before the developer tears up the trailer park. It is so sad that the people who were forced to move probably didn't have the option of finding a new home that allows pets. Affordable housing is such a critical need! Ironic how it seems to be the poor people who are the most willing to share what they have with homeless pets - I mean, I know more trailer park residents who will open their homes to homeless kittens than I do single, upper middle-class couples with 3K+ sq. ft., multiple bedroom homes who would do the same

I'm starting to re-think my lack of desire for a big house... if I had a big house, I could have more cats! I'm totally envying the people with a dozen cats... my two are wonderful, but the local friendly strays are SO begging to be adopted, and I always have to say no, because I couldn't take care of another Poor kitties...

these are the kind of stories you read that give you some hope that there are still good people out there.
