So for years it was just me and my kitty..super sweet cat..always on top of me..
Then I took in 2 stray cats last year. It's been a slow process of introducing them. My first cat does not like any other animals! She only likes people. I am finally in a place where I can just have all the animals out with eachother. However, my first cat will hide all day in the closet when the other cats are out. At night I will put the other cats in another room so that she can come out. And then she will. However, it makes me nervous that she just hides all day. She doesn't move from her spot until I take the other cats away. What can I do? Or will this resolve itself in time? It's only been about a month since the cats have all been out together. They don't fight or anything like that. She is just afraid of them and if they get too close, she hisses. So they pretty much leave her alone. I just worry that it's not good for her to be hiding all day. Anyway, any tips would be great. Thank you!
