I was looking at the airmiles site and they now have the Dyson Animal Vacuum as one of the rewards!

The good news is that I can get one absolutely free! The bad news is that after I get my 700 airmiles credit for a fan I'm returning, plus the 50 extra that they are giving me for "inconvenience" that I'm short 300 airmiles to get it!

I was going to go shopping on the 31st when I get my disability. But I think I'll just pick up a few things and wait to do my major shopping until the following Tuesday when I can get 10 times the airmiles. Maybe by Christmas I'll be able to get a new vacuum cleaner!!

LOL, I'm thinking of ways I can spend money on things I need in order to earn airmiles and be able to get my new vacuum!

I just love my Dyson animal. I got mine for about half price on ebay. I think you will just love it once you try it out.

Not as many as I used to have. I had enough to go anywhere in the world during "low season". However, my health hasn't been that great and I have never really been bitten by the travel bug so I decided to start using some of them. I've been redeeming them here and there for the past few months on items that I need such as a bathroom scale and microwave and some other things that I've been "wanting".

Had the vacuum been there before I would have redeemed my airmiles for that instead because I had way more than enough a few months back. Once I get my credits I'll have about 4,850 or so. Down from over 11,000!!!

What a wonderful gift for yourself. If you feel up to it, you will actually enjoy vacuuming.

Who thought I'd be excited about getting a vacuum cleaner, LOL

I have a hard time with vacuuming so I have homecare coming to do that for me. She's always complaining about my Phantom Fury vacuum. They don't vacuum furniture though so I have to do that myself and just to do my 4 kitchen chairs, love seat and couch, it takes me all day because I have to keep stopping for rest breaks. Having a powered upholstery tool would make things so much easier because it would do the work and save me from that push and pull motion with a regular furniture tool.

OMG! I'm soooo excited!

I decided to call airmiles and ask if I can return something I ordered from July which I received in August but have never opened.

I ordered a bathroom scale which didn't go up to my weight limit
so I put the unopened box in the closet with the hopes that I would lose some weight and be able to actually use the scale.

On the 11th of this month I saw that they had a Weight Watchers scale that actually went up to my weight limit so I ordered it, and have already received it, and thus have no need or use for the other scale which I can't use.

I explained the situation to the fellow and he is sending me out address labels so that I can return that first bathroom scale and get a credit back of my 550 airmiles!

So once that scale is returned and I get the credit back for it I will have enough to get my Dyson Animal vacuum cleaner!

It takes about 10 days to get the labels and another couple for it to be returned to the warehouse and up to 2 weeks more for the credit to be given. So I should have my Dyson Animal by the end of November...or at least have ordered it!
