Well, for Texas, anyway!

Yesterday, it was in the 80's, and the A/C was still on. Today, it was only 53 about an hour ago, and I had to turn the heat on! I'm freezing!

I know - I'm a wuss!
I could never survive those Wisconsin winters ever again!!

Is it cold now where you're at??

Holy cow! we're still hitting 70s here. I heard that by the end of the week we'll be in the 50s though.
Maybe sooner, my headache isn't going away (I get weather change headaches).

I know! I woke up to the wind howling this morning and rain coming down at an angle on the way to work. What part of Texas are you in?

Yea what part? and what part are you from duchess15? we might be able
to have a texas meeting sometime!!
i only know of a couple more,
but anyway, maybe something to look forward to someday!
It is so windy here and pretty darn chilly!! I'm in Northeast Texas, close to
the State Lines of Arkansas, Texas, and Louisiana. The Ark-La-Tex!

Anyway, it's great to know some more folks are from Texas! Cover up and enjoy the cold weather, you know we'll probably be running our A/C's
come X-Mas!

I'm about 80 miles north of Houston..
Where are you??

I woke up to the rain & wind, too - but it was still fairly warm out at that point; the A/C was still kicking in at regular intervals.
But it sure ain't kicking in now..

Yeah - ain't it the truth!
I personally will be looking forward to it!
I hate cold weather!!

The drastic drop in temps is what makes it so difficult: your body doesn't have time to adjust!

I live in South TX I think the high today was somewhere in 60's. It was windy and overcast most of the day. Personally I loved it!
I'm one of those people who looks forward to colder weather. After months of hot, humid heat this is a nice break. I wish it would stay like for a while, (a bit cooler would suit me fine) but it looks like we''ll be back in the 80's for the rest of this week.

It is exactly freezing out right now. I've got 3 cats in the garage-Molly, Cow, & Fafeena. The other 5 cats won't come in! It's so cold....
I want to bring them all in the house right now....

Yesterday was in the 70s, but the temperature dropped when it started to rain. It's still pouring and it's supposed to be in the 60s early and dropping to the 50s by evening. I don't mind the colder temps, I just wish the rain would stop!

We had to scrape the frost off our car this morning, thats a definite sign that winter is coming soon! Going to have to start getting out the winter gear

I remember those days, oh so well (along w/ the frozen car door locks and frozen windows that you couldn't roll down). And I don't miss them!

Well, it did warm up again a little (67) and it's nice & sunny!
:
But that wind sure is howling today - a sure sign of the winter to come!

Oh, well.
At least it won't last long.

None of us can really complain, compared to what you poor guys/gals are going through in California.
I sympathize w/ y'all: I used to live in California, and experienced going through one of those Santa Ana fires myself. It's terrifying.

I hope & pray that y'all will be all right..
