I'm new and wanted to say hi! I adopted my cat about 2.5 weeks ago from a local shelter, she's my only pet right now (and I think she likes it that way!). Her name is Matilda (I named her after my favorite book from when I was a kid. We also call her Maddy because she kind of looks mad all the time and her long hair can get matted if you don't brush it frequently).
I think she is almost 7 months old (birthday was 04/01/07) but I'm not 100% sure about that. She looks a lot bigger than she is because she has so much fur. She is supposed to be a persian/mix. She was already declawed when I adopted her (I wouldn't have done that) so someone must have owned her for a short while before bringing her to the shelter (which is really sad but not too sad for me because now I have her! muahaha). She sleeps a ton, even for a cat. Sorry the pics are so big...
