What purpose do your kitties tails serve?

I'm making this multiple choice for multi-cat households, or multiple uses.

In our house, tails are accessories, toys, and transmitters... but also toe-warmers, both for the kitty and for the human who sleeps with him!

None of my cats are extremely graceful, so it definitely doesn't enhance their speed and performance.

Vash's tail is his own personal toy.
Spaz's tail is a fashion accessory and a morse code transmitter.
Shadow and Trouble's tails are bait.
Cassi's tail is a toy for others and a morse code transmitter.
Ivory only started doing stuff with her tail recently, it's a fashion accessory, and toy for others and bait. Until this year though, it only ever hung straight down, we actually thought it might have nerve damage.

Maisie only has a tiny stump
but if you look closly you can see her wiggle it at times.

Kittys tail is how he signals to me if he`s happy or mad along with other things
He doesn`t play with it or use it as a toe warmer.

Fashion for sure! Enzo just loves to use it to look pretty

Although Stuart does use everyone's tails as toys.
