Kitten finding a moved litter tray

Once all the kittens have gone, I will be left with one. I will then be moving the litter box into the bathroom. I know that Ziggy will be able to find it okay so long as I show her where it is, and I also know that she will be able to 'hold it' if the door is closed for some reason. But my question is the kitten we are keeping. Is a 9 week old kitten capable of 'holding themselves' and also are they able to find the newly placed litter box without being reminded constantly as to where it is?

Thanks Guys!!

I don't know how long they can hold, but we recently moved our kitties litter box, we just showed her where it was, there has never been an accident

As long as they're used to using the litter box, they should be able to hunt down where it is by sight or smell. Still, it's best to put them inside of it yourself when you move it, and remind them a few times during that day just to make sure.

IMO if the kitten is only 9 weeks old, it cannot "hold" it a long time. I'd confine the kitten to the room with the litter pan when you can't supervise till the kitten is a good 4-5 months old.
