What do you think of the new ladies on The View?

What do you think of Whoopi Goldberg and the other lady (not sure of her name) that joined The View? I just think it has really gone down hill. I used to watch it on my break at work or if I would come home for lunch around that time, but I have very little desire to anymore. They say the ratings are up, that's hard for me to believe. I never cared for Whoopi Goldberg as a comedian either, never thought she was funny. I never understood how Elizabeth Hassleback got this job either, I would be glad to see her leave too, I don't think she brings anything of value to the show.

I think Joy Behar is pretty good though, she does a good job and I always liked Meredith Viera. I really hated to see Rosie O'Donnell go, I thought she added spark to the show and made it interesting. Now, I don't even care to watch it, I just find it very boring.

So, what are your views if you watch The View?

So, you think it should just be all liberals on the show then? BORING

I've never watched it personally, but there hasn't really been an uproar coming from there since Rosie left, that's for sure.

is The View supposed to be a political show? Since I've never watched it I don't know

No, it's not suppossed to be a political show. They discuss a little bit of everything, sometimes politics. I'm not a political person myself, since I have many different views on different issues.

I disagree with you about Whoopie - she's great. Love her sense of dry humor and she's down to earth and pretty honest/straight forward

Can't STAND Rosie! Never have.

I think Whoopie is great. She's just right for what they need. I know she's got more of a libral view, but she's easy going and not out to push her view on anyone. Joy is OK, she's pretty funny. The other new member Sherry Shepard, is seems nice. I CAN'T STAND ELIZABETH HASSELBECK, and I never could. I don't understand what is wrong with a person as young as she is, having those conservative views. I wish she would keep them to herself.

I knew Whoopie was joining to replace Rosie, but who left that they brought in someone else?

As for watching it? I've caught a few episodes but TBH it wasn't anything of interest to me because I'm not really interested in watching women sitting around a table drinking coffee and talking.

I like The View. I don't watch it all the time. It does seem like with the new people it is not as good though.

After Starr Jones left The View, they never replaced her.
