Two days ago I was rubbing Coopers belly and I felt something rough......

My baby has metal sticking out of her belly, one of her suture had popped to the surface! (She was spayed Dec 26th)

I called the vet, they said they had to remove it ASAP! Today I took her in......

The nurse remember my baby (they had written on her chart that she was a cry'er) Ahhhhhhh....

Anyway the nurse said never in her 15 years had she ever seen a kitten pop a suture!

Anyone ever heard of this...
(Cooper is fine she doesn't even notice the metal in her belly!!!)

LOL.... my baby is a cry'er!

I am glad you noticed it and that she is OK. Which vet do you take her to? I take mine to Dr Wexler-Mitchell in Orange. She writes for Cat Fancy. I really like her and the other two at her office are great, too. Becky

No, none of my cats ever had that happen. Is she home, crying and telling you all about her awful experience?

We go to:
Animal Discount Clinic
13252 Euclid St, Garden Grove, CA 92843
Phone: (714) 537-0570

I love the office.... it's an older building, but the nurses are very sweet and helpful....... plus the prices are GREAT!

BUT.............

The funny thing....

We take her to the vet in a cat carrier... when she is at home, she sleeps in the cat carrier.

She has not related the two things---> she LOVES to go on car rides!

I say "Let Go".. she runs to the carrier....

Nick gets to pick her up tonight, thank goodness cause I can't deal with her all drugged up.... it breaks my heart!

I took my dog when I had one there. They were great with him. And they were very reasonably priced. I sort of spoil my kitties though. Nothing but the best. Actually Dr. Mitchell isn't very expensive, even though she is a feline specialist. I like that the kitties aren't scared by the dogs. I board there when I have to be out of town. I'm glad Cooper is OK. Becky

Shes feeling MUCH better.....

We had to put the e-collar back on her (SHE HATES THAT THING!!)
They used sergical glue to "glue" her up....

She resting today (I stayed home with her to keep an eye on her)

Thank you for your concern.....

My baby is now "metal" free!
