On of my new cats like to nip at my hands

Hi!
I'm new here and have enjoyed reading all of your lovely post. I've gotten some really helpful information so far and am grateful that such a loving community exist. I have recently become the proud owner of two very loveable 1 yr olds (I female "slinky" and 1 male "patches" and everything is going fine except SLINKY has the habit of nipping at my hands very hard when I'm playing with her. I don't want to punish her and make her afraid but this does hurt quite alot amd this wouldn't be a good habit for her to have when meeting new people. Any help is deeply appreciated. I've been reading the thread you suggested. Very good info. She's very hyper this morning for some reason hahaha. I'll probably go out this weekend and buy them some toys and stuff that's more suitable to play with. Actually I'm relieved that she's perking up. She was so dragged out from having her vaccinations a few days ago (the pet store sold her to me the same day they had the vet visit). Thanks for all the help. I'm totally glued to this site.
