Hi guys

I'm pondering over something and I figured many heads were better than one!

I'm getting involved in a campaign to get people from roughly the age of 35-65 more active. We'll be doing lots of promotion but the one thing we're trying to come up with at the moment is a title! I need something catchy, like 'Fit for Life' (but not that as I think it's already a brand).

I'd really appreciate some suggestions!

What is the product or service being offered? Is it a health spa? A food product? A walking shoe?

I'd need more details...but focus on the benefit to the target market.

It's literally a campaign by physios to encourage more physical activity among this age group. It'll involve a month of going out to locations such as gyms, community centres etc and giving these people advice on getting started, continuing activity etc.

We're not selling anything, more trying to raise the profile of our profession

Howbout, "Get Off Your Backside, Dublin!"

No, I'm kidding, of course. But these might work:

"Get Up & Go"

"Move It!"

"Feet First"

"Middle Age In Motion"

Middle Age in Motion I don't like so much...sorry, but it makes me feel old. I'm 40, so I'm the target market, and I'm laughing because I know what I should be doing, I know what I NEED to do, but I just have zero motivation to actually DO it.

I do like Get Up and Go, though.

I'll have to think on this....

I'm rapidly moving towards that demographic and the more I hear it being called middle age the more it depresses me.

I am a fan of Get Up and Go though!

Yeah, I don't like being called middle-aged either... and I'm sure 35-year-olds don't like it one BIT! I'm just throwing things out there.

The truth is... as a consumer, I'd LOVE "Get Off Your Backside!" But that might be a risky choice!

There is something in Canada called "Body Break" which is now a "company" but started out as a campaign by a couple to promote fitness and nutrition. They have TV commercials and now a line of fitness equipment too.

Doubt they are trademarked around the world. You can check. I know that I've seen company names in the USA that have also been used by smaller companies in cities or other countries.

Just back online now after a good night's sleep! I had a good laugh at some of the ideas but my favourite is 'you'll thank us when you're older'!! I don't see the campaign people going for it though.....

When I saw 'no beer bellies here' the slogan 'beer bellies in motion' sprang to mind..........Again I wouldn't get away with it!

I wouldn't want to see any beer bellies in motion...

Maybe think of an older popular song and use a line from the chorus or modify the name a bit? Something 70s-80s pop or even disco. This way it's already stuck in people's heads.

I don't know if that would be a good thing....I may be discouraged.

Here's some more:
The incredibly healthy body
(or for fun: The incredibly shrinking beer belly
)

Fight Age!

Got Health?
