Hey all.

Ever since I brought T.C. this August, Kicker has been more withdrawn than normal. He's not as "outgoing" you could say.

Well now I've noticed that he's losing a lot of hair on his tail. He's a longhair and always had a long puffy thick coat of hair on his tail, now it's very thin and you can see his skin w/o looking for it. He's also acting more lethargic.

I have an appointment with the vet this coming Tuesday. Any advice or help would be great!!!! Maybe a website touching on it too...

You are already doing the right thing by taking your baby to the VET. He could very well be just a very unhappy kitty and that is his way of showing stress.

Please let is know how it went.

I'll find out on Tuesday if the vet has any ideas. I really believe it's stress but one can never be sure.

He had such a pretty thick coat on his tail too.

My male cat, Peppurr, lost most of the fur on his body from biting it out! It was all because of boredom!
