I've lost feeling in my body parts before because a cat was laying on it

If I need to move, I usually pick up the cat and start to cuddle with them. After a few seconds they freak and will "escape". What they don't know is that I just wanted them off!!!

I tried the cuddles... he woke up and started purring and kneading my shoulder and refused to get down... but I got to move my leg!

Ok, at this point, I would just move my leg and he would have to deal with it. Rationalize it this way...if you have bad knees, you need to keep them mobile so you can feed the King of the household and make sure his litter box is clean. Explain that to him, and he may forgive you...don't count on it, but it could happen!

Yeah, there's that 'you can crawl' look he can give...

Yes...we all would not be a part of this forum if we would do anything less then be uncomfortable in order to make our cats happy
