I know I have another thread open and this is kind of the same thing but. I am having a really bad day.
I am close to going to the er just to make sure im not having a heart attack. My chest hurts I feel like I cant breath and I just can't seem to calm down.
Has anyone ever gone to the er because of a panic attack? I dont know for sure if this is whats going on but I don't know what to do.

Go to the Dr. They are the only ones that will be able to help you properly!

I hope you feel better quickly!

You know your body and if you truly feel something is wrong, go to the ER. When it comes to your chest area, believe me... it's better to be safe than sorry.

Feel Better Vibes Are On The Way!!!!!

It is a good idea to go to the Dr. You don't want to mess around with chest pain.

Over the river and through the woods...
My husband has gone to the ER with chest pains and found out it was a panic attack. He felt really stupid but the doctor said it was the best thing he could have done because sometimes the only way to distinguish between the two are hospital tests. It's always better safe than sorry. I would go asap!! Besides, if you have having panic attacks they might be able to prescribe something short term to help you with them.

Go to the doctor. It doesn't matter if it is just a panic attack - just go.

Did you go?

A few years ago B use to have panic attacks regularly. When he first started having them we hopped into the car to head to the ER. About 15 minutes into the drive we turned around...the attack went away.

I'm so glad you went! I haven't gotten to your other thread yet -- I'm hoping things went well yesterday and you're starting on something that can help you eventually put an end to these panic attacks.

Take care... and breathe deeply when you feel anxious. Sometimes a few good breaths can really help.

The first time I had chest pains I thought it was a heart attack, too! It turns out that I'm having panic attacks, and have to take Xanaxx for the anxiety when it gets bad. But it would be best to make sure that it's not heart related. Only a doctor can diagnose you. Please go and have it checked out!

I hope it's nothing serious!
