I just thought this up now - I have not lost Beauty, she is still going strong, so I don't know why I suddenly thought this up!

She will never purr again
When the snow comes down and the wind blows hard

I will never hear her purr again
Nor feel her, warm against me
When I curl up on the sofa
She’s not there.
