The dogs are going to the shelter today to be microchipped. Wish me luck!

Wish me luck today! I'm about to take the boys to the shelter where i work in a little while to have both doggies microchipped My coworkers are all dying to see them- they love my doggies, especially Fosters- because that's where we adopted him from a while back. He was there for months before we adopted him- so all of the staff love him. I'm going to take them in and chip them (especially a good idea before we have company at the end of the week- i don't want to chance them slipping out of the door or anything if people forget to be careful

I'm pretty sure Fosters will be a good boy (Aside from being a wiggle butt ) But it's Whiskey i'm hoping behaves. He will definitely be muzzled just in case, but i don't think he'll do anything. He's not aggressive, but if he gets scared he could be a fear biter perhaps- so better safe than sorrry. I will chip them myselves and get a coworker to hold them, so they will hopefully do ok that way. I think after that i owe them a trip to the pet store for a nice treat Could i ask for a few "please be good doggie" vibes??

haha i'm sure the dogs would prefer i mircorhip myself rather than them i'm hoping i don't though those needles hurt! i thought my pinky was never going to heal the last time i chipped myself

i hope so, i thought about taking them one at a time, but it'd be easier gas wise to just take them in together so that's what i'm going to do. when i go shopping later tonight, i'm going to swing by the pet store and pick them up a toy or treat!

We're back! They're were very good about getting chipped! They got tons of hugs and kisses from my coworkers too

I am glad they did well. Microchipping doesn't phase them, some of them are sensitive and make a big deal out of it or they just don't care. the small dogs are the worst to microchip. the kittens and cats aren't too bad but I feel so bad for the kittens that get chipped because they are so small and sensitive but they are fine.

I'm glad they did well too- i was worried Whiskey might act up, so i muzzled him before i chipped him. He did ok though Fosters didn't even make a peep-he was such a good doggie! I'm thinking of taking the other 3 kitties in tomorrow to get chipped, i'm not sure if i will get all of them done tomorrow, money wise, but i might at least take Velvet in. Kojak is alredy done, so now i only have Velvet, Jasmine, and Isabella left to be chipped
