little dog is sick,,

Hi, sorry for a sick dog question but Yvonne's little dog Willy is not himself, he feels real warm and he sits and shivers and shakes. I think he has some kind of infection in his ears. He can't get into the vet till tomorrow afternoon, is there much I can do to make him feel better till then? I have him on the bed and half covered up and he has been sleeping for a while now. I have some drops from when Cozmo had a ear infection but I don't know if I should use them on Willy or not.

I would find an emergency vet.
Shivering is a sign that the temp is going up. I had an ear infection as an adult and it was one of the most painful experiences of my life - including broken bones, surgeries and three kids.

Hi, Willy didn't have a fever, which surprised me. He has a skin infection on his belly and a infection in his ears. He is on antibiotics for his skin, some kind of drops for his ears, and he has some pain meds to see if that helps him feel better. We got behind on getting his hair cut and it was so long the vet figures that when he peed his fur on his belly would get all wet and caused the infection. He just got a hair cut last weekend so we can now see the infection and the clippers probably irritated his skin also. I hope he comes around fast and that we didn't miss anything else that might be going on.

Sorry for getting behind on this topic, I had Willy back to the vet a couple days after the first time because he just was not improving. He got a different vet this time who also gave him a good looking over but she could not find anything bad enough to make him act like he was. So she told us to just keep giving him the meds and watch him, well I am happy to say he is back to his crazy self again.
