Well I just picked up my kittens... 6 month old brother and sister... Lloyd and Lois.

Previous owners were feeding them Iams for Kittens... so I got a small bag of that and some Nutro for Kittens (yes I know I can use the Adult formula).

Well over the past two days Lloyd has left some very very stinky "droppings" that stunk up my entire apartment, so I'd like to get him off Iams and eatting Nutro ASAP!

I gave each of them a small bowl of Nutro and they both ate it.... so my question is:
Seeing that they both like the "new" food, Nutro, do I still have to slowly change over to Nutro? Or could I just start feeding all Nutro?

I would slowly change it over. The stinky poop is the stress of a new place, the stress of a new food, & the everything combined. I'd take 7-12 days to switch them.

Welcome to little Lloyd and Lois, and thank you for adopting and loving siblings! Cats DO form deep bonds especially among family members, so you're doing a wonderful thing in keeping these little ones together. The other posters gave excellent advice; hope Lloyd and Lois are soon enjoying their Nutro Max Kitten formula and growing into beautiful, healthy cats! (Pssst: We LOVE pix here...!)
