Since my sister had her baby.. I have noticed that baby toys and stuff have become more sophisticated since I was baby. I tried putting the baby's play pen together earlier and it took me a long time to figure it out lol. I eventually got it put together though lol.

i hear you on that....carseats i have given up with them. I can NOT figure my nephews out no matter how many times they show me. The kids going to be able to figure it out before i do. I did master the cheapy lil stroller but that took me 5 minutes. Then the toys these kids got now-a-days i'm soooo jealous. Not sure if i wanna have kids when i cant even figure out the simple things....lol

Over the river and through the woods...
My SIL just had a baby, and I tell you, it's unreal! What happened to blocks? Now they have all these mechanical, battery operated things. I bet most mothers are wondering when they are going to come out with the automated nanny.

That's why I stick to animals and not children.

The car seat is another example. My sister has showed me how to put the car seat in the car.. but for the life of me.. I still can't do it! lol

One of my friend's son's managed to get himself out of his carseat while she was driving! It was a good carseat too!

All those mechanical things are why I'm funny about what I buy for my nieces and nephews! I try to get them quiet toys my SIL's or siblings can't hate me for!
