I just brought her home last night. =D

Settling into her cage last night.

Hanging out with my Amante and Ky.

Posing pretty.

Fluffed out, settling feathers.

She's around four years old (born in 2003), and is already hand-tame, but somewhat stubborn. She loves head scritches and likes to nibble. <3 She's getting along well with my other two tiels, who are very curious about her.

Aww~! Baby. <3

I've always wanted a pearl of my own, so imagine my excitement when I was told I could have her for -free-! <3333

Hahaha, my lutino split to cinnamon male is whistling sweetly at the new girl and me. =3

She is stunning. She doesn't look cinnamon to me. Does she have a name yet? I have a WF pearl pied female.

I meant to say that I thought she was cinnamon. =P When I look at her breast, it's more cinnamon-like than her back, but...yeah, a guy on the bird forum I go to said she wasn't cinnamon, either. =)

I'm still looking for the right name. I have two names, so far, to consider:
~Nevada
~Ladybug

Got any more? =D

Sorry for the double post.

We've named her "Sierra". My dad thought of it after I told him that someone suggested "Nevada". =)

Hehehe, my little boy does wolf whistles, car alarms, kissy noises, and mimics a couple of my made-up (or so I think) whistles. I'll have to post a voice clip of him, sometime.

Sierra is doing great. I had to quarantine her, because I was a bad mommy and forgot the most important rule of brining home a new baby: QUARANTINE. So, she's in the living room, while Amante and Ky are still in my room.

Sierra loves to cuddle! She's still a bit touchy, of course, and doesn't like to have her feet or back touched, but she LOVES head scritches and kisses. She even tried to help me study (but it's not the -helpful- type of "helping"...she rips up my note cards. -_-). She's good at scaring off the over-zealous kitten who is entirely too -interested- in her. She fans her wings and hisses, and not only does that get -my- attention, it makes him think twice about pouncing on her. So far, he's been kept at bay, but I'm thinking I'll have to figure something out soon, or he may get her...I'm just really glad she's older and doesn't panic like my other two do.

I'll get more pics soon. =)

Hahaha, it would have been fine. The girl on the tiel forum had asked me why I hadn't quarantined, and I...well, I freaked, feeling like the worst tiel mommy ever...

And thank you for all the "she's beautiful" comments...I think so, too. <3
