It's not the best out there but it definatly satified my craving for it.

I think the best out there is Southern Comfort's Egg Nog.. yes, it's non alcoholic

I saw it today while at the store. Way too early for me. I can't indulge in a lot so I'm going to have to be really careful. Before, the temptation wasn't that bad for 1 month.

Oh yes, we've been seeing it since October 1st. DH would have bought it already but the grocery has only been carrying "Pumpkin Spice" flavored nog, and he likes it plain (not even any rum!
)

Why not put out the eggnog? The stores already have the Christmas trees up, so what the heck?

Two days ago I saw a car with a wreath lashed to the front grill. Two days ago...as in October 11th...OCTOBER!

Blech! I won't eat anything with raw eggs in it, never would.

I remember when I was 12 my Mom left me for a day with my elderly step grandmother. She absolutely loved egg nog and my Mom would make it for her every single day! Seeing that my Mom wasn't going to be home come egg nog time, she showed me how to make it in the blender. I nearly lost my lunch when I saw her dumping in raw eggs!

Anything I eat with eggs has to be well cooked.

It's available all year round over here, but I don't like it.

Its only October and Costco has their stores LOADED with Christmas stuff! Used to be they wouldn't even put it out till beginning of November. Christmas is all about commercial now - too many have forgotten the real reason.

I love EggNog, but can only drink a little cause its too thick and rich
We don't get it till in December.

I have a recipie where the beaten eggs, milk, and sugar is cooked together until it coats a spoon about 15 minutes. The custard is then chilled and mixed with the other ingredients. I too am leary of anything with raw eggs in it.

Now I'm going to have to make a Braum's run today.
They make the best Egg Nog and even have ice cream.
We always serve egg nog in small cups, like 3 ounce paper cups. I won't tell you how many times I can refill that cup though.

No alcohol, just a bit of grated nutmeg on top.
