Very Sad Kitties

Ok so as I posted before my mom moved out this weekend. Well not completely yet, but shes working on it. So since she moved she took her cat Chablis and now both of my cats are very very sad! Joey is just following me around looking worriedly at the empty pet taxi he saw Chablis leave in but it came home empty. And Kahlua is just laying where her and Chablis usually sleep during the day staring. Anyone got any tips in making them happy again? Or will only time help. Before too long my best friend will be moving in with her maine coone, so getting another kitty isnt an option! But I would love some ideas!

Do they have any favorite games? When I want to distract or cheer up Marcie, I play her favorite game of hiding about a dozen really little pieces of cheese. It usually works to cheer her up and get her active.

thanks for the response! Joey doesnt play much with me he's always had the other cats to interact with. Chablis mothered him when we first got him, so he's the only one really hurting. Kahlua is kinda lonely but not so bad. I think I might go get some new toys or something tomorrow. I dont know... it seems like when I buy them new toys or treats they turn their noses up at it.
