My cat's sick....I think...

My cat Beef has been acting strange lately. He's almost thirteen and we think he might die soon so were really scared. He keeps "pooping" in the same place in our living room all the time. It looks like diarrhea. Although I don't want to get into detail its hard not to. He walks around, meows, and purrs the same as he used to. Is it possible that he just has temporary diarrhea? I'm hoping that this isn't fatal.

Thirteen isn't that old yet. Has he been to a vet recently? He's a senior kitty and really needs to have a thorough checkup and blood work.
The diarrhea could be a number of things from internal parasites to problems with his food. Only a vet would really be able to rule out possibilities and help you find a solution.

I know that worry all too well. It will be a relief to you, when you get him to the Vet! Do not put it off.
