Hi everyone,
First of all thanks to everyone for their support. Second of all, I'm taking Kismet home today!! After a bit of a scare yesterday and a turn for the worse, she was kept on antibiotics, fluids and steroids overnight and the vet can't believe the overnight recovery she made. She even ate a little dry food on her own. I'm not quite out of the woods yet but the rest of the recovery will hopefully be done from home, if I'm diligent with her medications, force feeding and prescription food the prognosis is looking very good. What a little fighter she is. I'll update again in a couple weeks after she gets checked out again, the one thing is she may have to be on prescription food for life, but small price to pay.....
Thanks again, this forum has actually been a life saver.....
