Something I found on another site that might cheer you up if you have lost a pet.

Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there I do not sleep
I am a thousand winds that blow
I am the diamond glint on snow
I am the sunlight on ripened grain
I am the gentle autumn rain
When you wake in the morning hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circling flight
I am the south start light at night
Do not stand at my grave and cry
I am not there I did not die

That's a nice poem. It's been set to music a bunch of times. Pretty moving.

I didn't make that poem up, for the record. I found it on the Internet.

This one is for people, too, someone gave it to my mother in law when she lost her husband and it's been on her fridge ever since.

I am looking for a tribute, not really a poem, I saw years ago about a pet who had passed. It started off something like 'you think I'm dead, don't you?' and ended up by saying that he was always with you. It was rather long. Does anyone have any idea what I mean? I have looked through the links here and I cant' find it.
