Anyone in costume-making mode? I have made a number of costumes for my kids in past years - a pteradytcl, bunch of grapes, Princess Lea, the Yellow Power Ranger, a pumpkin, a pirate, a ninja. Luckily, our 7th-grade son is going to wear his Draco Malfoy costume for the 3rd year. Still fits. Green satin with silver insides and a Slytherin patch I copied from the net. Do you know how much it cost to make that costume?! Anyway, he loves it so that is all that matters.
Good luck to all you sewers!

Currently making a piece of LOTR jewelry. grr... it's a pain in the butt with the beading but it'll be worth it!

Here is his costume. Doesn't look quite as good in the picture as it does on Ben.

At last count, I've made a dozen costumes for her. You should post some pics!

I made my first costume this year for my 5 year-old daughter. She wanted to be the sandworm from the movie 'Beetlejuice'. No pics yet.
