What a hateful woman

Thread Starter
I've never read any of Ann Coulter's work, but I've heard of her, and since we have fox news on the monitors at work, I'll see her from time to time while I'm on break.

But I never realized just how bigoted and hateful this woman is till now.

I've never heard of her, but she sure sounds like a piece of work!

quite the little nazi isn't she!

OMG!!! I was seriously just coming here to post this story - and look! Someone beat me to it. Here's the link I was going to use.

Anyone care to defend her, now?
I don't see how anyone can give her credence. Everything that comes out of her mouth lately is just filth.
OMG this woman drives me crazy. If we actually did what she says, she would be able to do half the stuff she does!! I can't stand this woman!! I'm not surprised at anything she says anymore.

Apparently she's been around for a while, but just recently surfaced due to her latest book

I personally think most of it is a gimic. Actually I hope it as I can't believe that anyone is that ignorant and [now] well-know. I was really crossing my toes that she meant "christian" as being nice, or faithful, or peaceful...not to get rid of the jewish faith

Anyway, I'm wondering if she's thorn for politics like Howard Stern is for censorship.
Oh, she just does it to get a rise out of all you liberals.

No, I don't think Ann Coulter is Anti-Semitic. Christians do have their roots with the Jewish faith, that is what she meant.

She pushes buttons, that is what she does and it sure does work.

I find her very arrogant and sarcastic myself, but I don't think it is "filth", at least not by my definition.

I found it much more offensive when, who was it, John Kerry said, to a graduating class, "stay in school and get smart or you may end up in Iraq" or something stupidly insulting like that to the troops. That is what I call offensive.

Nah, I think he just said that to get a rise out of you conservatives.

But seriously, I think her comments were very offensive to non-Christians. She was basically saying that people would be better off as Christians.
She did not just say that Christians have roots in the Jewish faith, she said that Christians were "improved" over Jewish. How is that not anti-semitic?

This isn't filth?

Last year she told Deutsch that former President Bill Clinton showed "some level of latent homosexuality" and then followed it up by telling Chris Matthews on MSNBC that former Vice President Al Gore was a "total fag."

That's what I think, too. Look where it's got her. I think that says more about us than about her. If we didn't pay any attention to her, she'd be a nobody flapping her mouth in the darkness instead of a somebody flapping her mouth in the spotlight.
What little I have heard from her has told me that if she disappeared, no one would miss her. I can't stand that woman! She is so tactless and merciless that it wouldn't surprise me if no one respected her to begin with.
She has absolutely no real ideas, so she makes up inflammatory stuff like this because it's the only way anybody cares who she is.

And Cindy, seriously, what she said to the 9/11 widows wasn't worse than what John Kerry said?

Anti-semitism is just like any other form of racism. It doesn't have to be expressed to be there. A lot of people (especially racists) seem to think that a person isn't racist if they never make a racist statement. That, quite frankly, is mule muffins. I came from a family a racists, it's why I hardly talk to any of them anymore. But very, very few of them ever even make racists comments, just things like "he's an ok guy, for one of those people".

This woman made it very clear. She is Anti-Semitic, in fact, as my uncle would say "she is eat up with it." She falls into the same category as the German soldiers that wore the "Gott mitt uns" (God is with us) belt buckles during the holocaust.

And for anyone who doesn't know what she said on that topic, here's a link:

http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2006/...n1690954.shtml

Despite vast amounts of evidence, direct quotes and proof of her viciousness, many will still continue to defend her actions, or try to explain them away, as Cindy has done. This is what makes her dangerous - and many fuel her success by continuing to contribute money to her cause by buying her books and subscribing to her ideas.

lol i agree with the first part, She does it just to get her name out there and sale books..

as for the second, i found kerry much more insulting.

Really? That surprises me Bruce. I would think that you would be appalled by someone saying outright that 9/11 widows were profiteering opportunists who enjoyed the fact that their husbands were dead.

Kerry is an idiot, and I still have no idea how the democrats started with a field of such talent, and ended up with Kerry. But changing the subject to Kerry isn't going to change the fact that Coulter is a hateful Anti-Semite. I was even going to say that she gives christians a bad name, but after reading some of the statements posted here, I'm not so sure if thats the case at all. Her idea of being a christian doesn't sound anything like what I've heard over and over again that it's supposed to be, and the fact that she has a christian cheerleading squad making excuses for her and her John Wayne attitude makes me wonder if she's not more typical than we've been lead to believe.

Anytime I hear her say something horrible I think, "Oh, what's Ann selling now?"

She only comes out and says stuff like this when she has: 1. A new book. 2. Is pitching for a neo-Christian conservative group. 3 Or is being paid a fee to speak.

I have to say it's a good marketing gimmick.

Coulter isn't running or has not run for president. She's just an annoying person that's trying to make a buck on her Anti-antisemitism views.

I agree 1000% with this. If nobody pays attention or gives them any notice they end up going away. It's the same with all the celebrity junk. If we were sane and weren't so fascinated by all the inane gossip, the rag mags would be out of business.

Bingo, that is exactly what she is.

And to the other person, no, I do NOT consider that filth. To me filth is porn and talking it. Dirty, filthy jokes, etc, etc.

People will defend, to the hilt, people's "Right" to view porn but let Ann Coulter call someone a fag and ooooooooh the sky is falling.

Ever hear of the "Sticks and stones will break my bones but names will never hurt me"?

Yes, you are right, that was the ultimate in, insensitive, cruel and heartless.
Plus, the fact that Kerry is a politician, isn't that SUPPOSED to be "public service"? Maybe not.
I'm glad to see that most people here, at least, see her for what she is - a profiteering extremist who takes pleasure in offending people and will say ANYTHING to get her name in the press. What I really hate is when people assume that Ann Coulter's views are representative of conservatives. It's not even close. And unlike Rush Limbaugh, she doesn't have to be taken out of context to be slammed. (Not that Rush is a saint or anything, but he practically is one compared to her!)
I really think, this time, that most Americans saw the "Rush flap for what is was.

She has a new book coming out. It's called "If Democrats Had Any Brains, They'd Be Republicans". She just keeps proving the point all by herself, doesn't she?

Catchy title.
