Please help! I have three six-month-old kittens, all from the same litter, all females, and my mom and I recently took Ziyi to the vet to get fixed first. (Pucca and Tora are going to have to wait till we get more money together.) When we picked her up, we also got Pucca and Tora the rest of their shots and earmites treatment, and Ziyi got it as well.
Now, when the nurse handed Ziyi back to us, she was all wet, and I assumed it was medicine to help with the stictches that they didn't wipe off. When Pucca and Tora went up to greet Ziyi, they immediately started hissing at her and backing away from her. I immediately put the two downstairs and kept them seperated from Ziyi, figuring that she'd eventually get the stuff licked off of her and start smelling like herself. I figured that the reason they're hissing at Ziyi is because she smells different, but even after two days (she got fixed this past Tuesday), she still smells like the stuff, and Tora and Pucca seem to be getting more agressive to her.
What I was wondering if anybody had any tips on helping me clean Ziyi off? Like with a damp rag or something, without getting her stitches wet? I know that the stuff will eventually come off, but it's coming off slower than I had anticipated, and Ziyi actually seems to be depressed that she can't play with her sissies (she hasn't, by the way, ever hissed back or swatted at them like they have her). Could anyone please give me some tips or adivce please? I've been looking online all afternoon, and haven't really found anything until I came across this site, hoping that one of you lovelies could help me <3

You could try one of the waterless cat baths (NOTE: ONLY APPLY CAT-SPECIFIC PRODUCTS! Those for dogs, or humans, can make cats sick.) or buy some Petkin KittyWipes at any "pet" supply store. Or you can sponge-bathe her with a damp washrag dipped in a cat shampoo-and-water solution (making sure you rinse her thoroughly with damp washrags afterward!) GOOD LUCK!!!
